MassVOTE, in collaboration with Nonprofit VOTE, is hiring three enthusiastic part-time canvassers to help support outreach and tabling efforts on site at local nonprofit organizations in Boston, Brockton, Worcester, Lowell, and Lawrence. Canvassers will be responsible for working within diverse communities to collect voter registrations and/or free drawing tickets, as part of a short-term Voter Registration Experiment (VRE). MassVOTE’s Civic Engagement Initiative Emerging Groups Mini-Grant
In order to increase issue and electoral participation in the second half of 2015, MassVOTE is offering mini-grants to organizations working to carry out non-partisan civic engagement work.
The mini-grants are intended to help recipient organizations build power in their communities by organizing their memberships to participate in the democratic process.
